My little baby is now so grown up

Ok, so Dalyla is such a big girl now! I am starting to get sad at how fast she is growing up. I no longer wish for her to be older. Truly!
Aside from changing her bum, she is so fun! She is repeating everything I say now. Yes, this includes the bad words...hmm, "S.H.I.T." and "STUPID" woops.
I said this morning while picking out clothes in the closet, "Stupid cat, she peed in the closet, ugh". So Dalyla says "Stupid..kitty cat". WOOPSIE! Note to self, she is a recorder. I know we all have these experiences with our kids, but who knew it was so true. LOL!
I didn't realize how much I said the word Shit until now. She says it often so I now have tried to start saying "rats" instead. On the way home from Grandmas last night I said "rats" and she said "shit". Ha-ha!

Dalyla loves to dance. She was trying to play with the karoeke machine too. I think she will be a mover and a groover.

She is so into her baby that she got for Christmas. She has to take her clothes off and then says "Neeked" for naked. She eats with her baby now in the high chair and she even likes to bring the baby to the bath. Baby isn't supposed to go "in" the bath but she does anyway.

She loved Christmas this year. She didn't feel well but she was such a trooper. I had to wake her up because we were up all night with her being sick. She was so excited with all of the toys every ime she opened them.
we haven't been able to ride her new Trike yet but she wants to and says "bike" every time she sees it.

Work has been so hectic lately. I have two out of town trips i have to make at the end of January. Then I get to turn around and go on vacation in February. I am going to hate life leaving Dalyla so much. At least when I leave for work I know that her Daddy is home with her and I am not totally abandoning her. She is a momma's girl though.

I am hoping to evaluate my wants and needs for myself this year and really determine my goals. I am not quite sure what my goals are and so I think it makes work hard for me. I feel like I need to accomplish something. I really need to figure out what I want to do for the rest of my life. Is that go back to school? Is it continue where I am at? because I definitely haven't mastered account management. Or do I find a new line of work?

I do think one of my personal goals will be to join a Crossfit gym and try to get more serious. I never seem to find the time, but maybe I can work on that. I would really like to learn how to do the exercises better so that I don't continue to injure my knees.

I also have to say that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my husband! He is amazing and beautiful. I will have to edit this and post pics of Xmas when I get home.

Here are some New Years fun photos! It was a mild but fun one!

Oh Holidays!

Really, is Christmas only 6 days away!!! My My!
I started writing about how stressed I am lately but have decided to stay positive.
So even with the normal stresses of life compiled with the Holidays I managed to string my husband and daughter along with me to Kiddie Kandids for pictures.

I have to brag for a minute! Have you ever seen such a beautiful little girl???

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of our friends and family! We love you so much!

Mommy and Daddy get away

Robert and I were able to take a trip on the University of Utah Charter plane with the team and staff to San Diego.
It was a great experience. We flew out of the Million Air club and felt like well, Millionaires! haha.
Such a better experience than the regular ole airport.
We stayed with the team at the Marriott. They took us in buses to the hotel and to the game. It was pretty cool being escorted by police. :)

The game day was wet. It rained all day long! I didn't know it could rain that much in San Diego. I thought I was in Seattle! Robert and had a blast. The game was nail biting and intense. It was a whirlwind of a trip!

Dalyla's phrases and words

"Where is she"? for Where is it.
"Shit"...hmmm wonder where she got that?
"binket" for Blanket
"baby" for baby
She says pretty much anything you say, but sometimes it is hard to understand.
"football" for any sport on TV
and the favorite...."NO!" for everything, although she fully understands the meaning.
She is trying to say Grandma too, but it isn't too easy for her.
"Papa" for grandpa.
"ewww"
"Ouchie"
and she now kisses her owies. She also wants me to kiss her owies when she falls.
She gives Avalin, Mandi's daughter hugs. Avalin is so sweet and loving, and gives Dalyla kisses.

Halloween

Halloween! Halloween was very fun this year with Dalyla. At 17 months old she had a good time. We had the annual pumpkin carving evening. She tried to participate but thought the pumpkin guts were "eewww".

Dalyla was a cheetah this year. She looked like a kitty cat more though. She loved to wear her little hat. She normally hates things on her head. But when I would say, "let's put on your kitty hat" she would tilt her head forward like she was so excited.
She got to go trick or treating at Grammy Becki's work and my work. She had 3 suckers in 20 minutes. Yes, she loves sugar now!

We went to Zachary's school costume parade early in the morning to start the day off. She loved looking at all of the costumes. She especially liked the witch hats. Zachary was a ninja..( i think). :)

Robert and I went out on Friday night to a party and hung out with Todd since he was in town this year. So Robert of course couldn't be anything modest. He was a Sexy Nun and I was Pocahontas. We had a good time.
