Dalyla Skye Update-7 weeks

Dalyla is getting so much more responsive. She smiles all the time. She loves the ABC song to be sang to her. She tries to sing it back. She is cooing and making noises. She loves to look around all the time. Her big blue eyes are so wandering and inquisitive. I am always wondering what she is thinking. She is so beautiful. We adore her more than anything in the world.
She loves to be outside. We went for a jog in the Jordan River parkway and she loved the Jeep stroller. She slept most of the time and was a fantastic little girl.
She slept for 4 hours in a row the last two nights. I only had to get up twice!! WAHOO! I hope this is a habit and that my sleep time soon returns.

She loves to be in her bedroom. She loves the brightness and her little dolly that Kandace gave her.

I put the jammies on her from Mike and Camille and they are so adorable. I wanted to keep her in them all day. She has so many clothes I don't know that she will wear all of them. She is growing so fast.

She loves to eat and she loves to be held. She didn't quite like the jumparoo quite yet, but I think she will soon.

She is starting to like her baths more...smiles and we are trying to get her to kick and splash.

Her first smile was at 3 weeks and it is just amazing at how fast she catches on. She tries to stick out her tongue and she likes it when I stick mine out.

Daddy and Mommy are adjusting well and try to fit her into everything we do. Evenings are hard because she just likes to eat....but we manage to get a workout in and eat too. :)

We went to Bear lake and hung out on the beach last weekend. Dalyla got to experience the water and sand on her little feet.

Family update

Wow, a month has gone by already. Our little Dalyla Skye is now 5 weeks old. She is so sweet and I couldn't ask for better.
She smiles a lot now when I talk to her. She is starting to make little ooohing noises. It won't be long before she is laughing and talking back.

She is liking the bath more now. I think she feels more secure and likes the warm water.
She has now grown out of most of her "newborn" clothes. She still wears the 0-3 month clothes. I can't believe it!!
I don't know if we will get through all of her cute clothes before she can't fit in them.
I know that most she will only wear once. :)

Robert and I are getting more sleep. She sleeps now 3 hours at a time and in her own bed. Yippee.

Not much else is new. Our world is now Dalyla. We try to fit in the occasional relaxing on the couch along with yard work and house work.

Hopefully we get to do some camping this summer.

Here are some updated pics.
