I dedicate this blog to my family. I cherish my daughter and husband more than anything in this world.

Day after Xmas. We went to the mall and she had to ride the Garfield ride and kiss and hug it.
Last day at school before Xmas break. She wore her Christmas dress from Aspen. She looked so pretty.Christmas program at Challenger. She sang her heart out. Literally!
Her new bedroom! Purple sparkly walls. She loves it! She said she is a big girl now and will actually cover up under her covers.
A new year...
Here it is a few days before 2014!
I haven't blogged in a while. Mostly getting caught up in pregnancy, a 4 year old and work prevents me from making time to write.
2013 was definitely a year of travel, fun, learning, excitement and joy.
South Africa in February
Portland in June
Bear Lake in July
Disney and Disney Cruise in November
And lots of camping in between!
Dalyla has changed so much and grown like a weed. Challenger has proved to be very enriching for her mentally. She is learning to read and write very well. She loves to draw and sing. She told me she wants to be a singer when she grows up. She changed it to a scientist about the earth, and then went back to singer. Robert wants her to be a scientist over singer. :) She is so excited for this new sister. She is counting down the months to March and spring time. Whenever we talk about spring she is like, "that is when you are going to have the baby, right mom". :)
Number 2 pregnancy has been a challenging one but I am reminded how thankful I am to be able to have this last one. I am so far 30 weeks and all is well. The baby moves a lot, hiccups a lot, and increasing insomnia has kicked my butt. :) I have so far gained 27 lbs. I am sure through the holidays I will have gained more. :)
My sore hips have somewhat subsided but now the weight of my belly makes sleeping difficult. Tossing and turning with a million pillows is challenging. My emotions have been all over the place. I get easily irritated and try not to. It mostly comes out on Dalyla and Robert. I have become increasingly OCD.
9 more weeks to go!! WOOT WOOT!
Robert has now been moved to another new position with UDOT. They have asked him to develop the Quality program. He will be the new Quality Manager. He is excited but feels sad to leave Maintenance and Construction after only such a short period of time.
Robert has started knocking down the concrete wall in the basement to run heating in our basement addition. I am excited to have this happen, but a little less excited about the dust. I don't know how I handled construction while being pregnant last time. The mess is so frustrating. :) he has been good about trying to help clean though. I try not to let the internal freak out come out but it does.
Christmas was exciting. Dalyla loved all of her presents and seemed quite grateful. She said "mom, I got a lot of presents didn't I?"
Robert spoiled me again of course and we spent too much money. The day was great. Danyell and Tommy came to breakfast. Most parents stopped by so we didn't have to leave. We visited Jana and Cal and then came home and enjoyed xmas night. Dalyla and I had a tea party. Robert played on the new WII U.

It's a Girl!
Dalyla finally gets to be a big sister!
At 19 weeks already we get to adjust to the reality of having another sweet daughter. One week ago my mom and I went to Dr. Quinn's office and sat through an exciting ultrasound and anxiously waited to find out what gender this sweet alien was growing inside of me. The big news is IT'S A GIRL!
Robert couldn't make it to the ultrasound due to a last minute meeting conflict. The utlrasound was a success. No problems or abnormalities present which was what I wanted to see the most.
After that appointment I picked up Dalyla from school and showed her the pictures. I told her I would let her pick out the first baby outfits but that she had to guess if it was a girl or boy by the section I took her in at the store. She said on the way to the store, "it's a girl mom". :) She knew already. :)
Robert and I are trying to find names for this new addition. We so far have only semi agreed on one name and that is Anna. I liked Anna Sue but then her initials would be ASS. Not good. :)
October has already flown by and almost November. Dalyla is growing like a weed. She is now going to Challenger school and loves it.
She comes home with new songs and things that she has learned every day.
She has learned about Columbus, planets, spiders, and cowboys.
She is learning her vowels and working on her alphabet song. Not only does she have to memorize the ABC's, but she has to say the sounds along with the letters before she can get her crown. :)
Dalyla likes to work out on the rings and be in the garage when Robert and I work out. There is this Crossfit commercial where it shows a little girl on the rings while her dad works out and that is her favorite! She loves it. So she makes sure she works out with mom and dad.
I think the latest funny thing Dalyla has said was "no other babygirl can do these workouts" or something like that. It was funny! I wish I could remember everything she says because she says some funny stuff.

My Sweetheart
Who knew I would love this man more and more everyday? I thought when you got married love faded and grew old. But really it changes and grows old but better and deeper. Thanks Robert for 12 years of fun, excitement, frustration, love, happiness, and humor. Mostly our 12 years has been a hell of a party!
Dalyla 4 year pics!
Growing like a weed
Dalyla and her Bestie Kori at the Bees game. It has been so hot lately that we have been house hermets. But making it out to the baseball game is priceless. Dalyla loves going to ride the train and see the Bee. If we don't see the Bee before we go she is devastated.

Life in the Stewart Household
Life these days is great and fabulous and wonderful. Dalyla is almost 4!
Robert and I just plug away at work and find lots of time to play. I am always planning that next trip. It is so addicting. Now that the weather is starting to warm up I try to make sure Dalyla gets to play outside. We went to the park this week and she had to show me her "tricks". So hilarious and awesome.

Robert is ending his job at the I-15 Core. He increased his salary and learned a lot. It seems as though he has really made a successful career with UDOT. His position currently is uncertain. He is confident he has a job, just not sure where at this point.
Dalyla is starting to try to read. She knows her ABC's and sounds. She knows her numbers but can't quite write them yet. She is looking at street signs and things we pass recognizing letters and asking what it spells. She memorizes most things. When I read her a story she tells me she can read now because she memorizes the story.
She loves to sing! She loves the Eric Church song "springsteen". She calls it the "whoa, whoa, whoa" song.
And of course what little girl doesn't know all of the Taylor Swift songs these days. She loves to sing those too.
She is obsessesed with lip gloss and lip stick. She has to constantly put that on. I think she has stained more clothes than anyone using lip gloss.
Dalyla just finished another round of simming lessons. She learned her back float and tummy float. She can swim quite well under water.
I am definitely looking forward to camping this year and planning another family trip. Dalyla talks about Disney all the time so hoepfully a Disney Cruise will be in store for us.
Family Pics Next!

Daddy and Dalyla
Why I can't get this to rotate, I don't know...
However, Dalyla loves cooking now. She loves to help whenever we cook. This is Dad and Dalyla cooking breakfast the other morning. TO my surprise, she is really good at cracking eggs.
