Dalyla 4 year pics!

Look at those amazing blue eyes!

Little miss sassy with that hip swing!

Daddy's girl.  She loves her Dad!

She either smiled big or with her lips closed.  Love this kid.

Another great Daddy Daughter pose.

Love this kid so much!

Growing like a weed

Dalyla and her Bestie Kori at the Bees game.  It has been so hot lately that we have been house hermets.  But making it out to the baseball game is priceless.  Dalyla loves going to ride the train and see the Bee.  If we don't see the Bee before we go she is devastated.

Life in the Stewart Household

Life these days is great and fabulous and wonderful.  Dalyla is almost 4!
Robert and I just plug away at work and find lots of time to play.  I am always planning that next trip.  It is so addicting.  Now that the weather is starting to warm up I try to make sure Dalyla gets to play outside.  We went to the park this week and she had to show me her "tricks".  So hilarious and awesome.

Robert is ending his job at the I-15 Core.  He increased his salary and learned a lot.  It seems as though he has really made a successful career with UDOT.  His position currently is uncertain.  He is confident he has a job, just not sure where at this point.

Dalyla is starting to try to read.  She knows her ABC's and sounds.  She knows her numbers but can't quite write them yet.  She is looking at street signs and things we pass recognizing letters and asking what it spells.  She memorizes most things.  When I read her a story she tells me she can read now because she memorizes the story.
She loves to sing!  She loves the Eric Church song "springsteen".  She calls it the "whoa, whoa, whoa" song.
And of course what little girl doesn't know all of the Taylor Swift songs these days.  She loves to sing those too.
She is obsessesed with lip gloss and lip stick.  She has to constantly put that on.  I think she has stained more clothes than anyone using lip gloss.
Dalyla just finished another round of simming lessons.  She learned her back float and tummy float.  She can swim quite well under water.

I am definitely looking forward to camping this year and planning another family trip.  Dalyla talks about Disney all the time so hoepfully a Disney Cruise will be in store for us.

Family Pics Next!

Daddy and Dalyla

Why I can't get this to rotate, I don't know...
However, Dalyla loves cooking now.  She loves to help whenever we cook.  This is Dad and Dalyla cooking breakfast the other morning.  TO my surprise, she is really good at cracking eggs.

Hawaii 2012, Disney Aulani Resort

Oahu 2012!!  Woot Woot!
We had sooo much fun!
I can't believe how amazingly well my daughter has adjusted to flying and traveling.  She did great.
We had a few hiccups like a cold, and an ear ache, but she recovered and had a good time.
We got to go on a beautiful Hike in Oahu.  I was sooo happy to do this hike.  It was raining like crazy the entire hike but was sooo worth it.

We stayed in Waikiki 3 nights at the Marriott.  Robert and I had stayed there once before when the Tsunami came to town.  This time, we had perfect weather!

Then we traveled over to North Shore one day and had some yummy shrimp.
These waves were huge!  These pictures dont do it justice.  We were up on a ledge but these were the biggest waves I had ever seen.  They wouldn't let you in the water unless you had fins and were experienced.  They said they had broken backs and necks already. We were very nervous to let Dalyla near the water.  We didn't stay too long at the beach because it got hot and no swimming.

After North Shore we went to Aulani Resort.  It was beautiful!  At check in they gave us bead and shell necklaces and gave us lounge access to hang out in until our room was ready.
We had a great time here.  They had all kinds of activities, characters and swimming pools.  We took a few strolls down the lazy river, played at the beach for a few days, and played in the pool.  By the end of the trip Dalyla was a pretty good swimmer with her life jacket on.  She can now hold her breath and swim under water now too.
We went to a Luau and that was fun.  Dalyla really liked the show.  It was a beautiful sunset and evening.  Robert and I danced with Dalyla too.  It was awesome.
This is looking out off our balcony over the resort.  Did I mention they had water slides?  Dalyla did them both by herself!

Dalyla had a few bad moments.  This is one of her finer moments.

These were the best pictures we got.  Robert used the night setting but didn't hold still.
It was beautiful!

Goofy was our first character visit.

Dalyla got all dressed up to go to the Character Breakfast.  It was super fun.

She got to dance with Minnie and clap coconut shells together.

Chocolate face cheezer.  This was our expensive dinner buffet.  It would have been nicer if we didn't have flies everywhere!

All I can say is, this was one of my favorite vacations with my little family.  We had an awesome time and I can't say how thankful I am to have been able to go.
ALOHA!
