Dalyla gave me a flower

Dalyla is my flower picker!
She loves to pick flowers and smell them.  Because they don't live forever, I had to take a picture.

Love this girl!  She says "her you go mommy". :)

The Skinny on my Mini

Dalyla is talking so much.  She can sing really well too.  She loves to sing in her own words and tune.  She loves to dance while she sings and hold her arms out wide.
We are almost done potty training.  She doesn't quite get the pooping part but she will pee about every time in her potty chair or a toilet.  She is getting really good about telling me when she needs to potty.
Dalyla can count to 20 with missing a few of the teen numbers.  She sings her ABC's but misses a few letters.  She really pronunciates things well.
Her favorite food right now is Popsicles, cottage cheese, macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, pizza, fruit, fruit and more fruit!
She still isn't a big meat eater and it is really hard to get her to try new things.  :)
A big phrase she says is "I love it".  She doesn't pronounce her L's though so it sounds like "uhv".  :)
She couldn't be more in love with her Dad.  Robert is so amazing with her and she just adores him.  She doesn't get away with much with him though.  :)  She doesn't seem to mind much.
At Dalyla's last Dr. appointment she weighed 28 lbs.  She is 75% in height and weight.  She just went to the Dentist too and has perfect teeth.  She didn't want to cooperate much but we finally got a look in that mouth of hers.  She is getting all 4 of her two year molars too.

I stare at her all of the time and think how lucky I am and how beautiful and perfect she is.

She is definitely my SUNSHINE!

The life of summer with a 2 year old

Dalyla is so busy! She loves water. She can't get enough of the water! She likes to fill cups up with water and water "mommy's plants".
She is running around pretending to be a frog and "ribbiting". She likes to pretend she is an airplane with her hands out in the air and runs around. She loves for me to ribbit with her like a frog. Dalyla is in the helpful stage. She will pick things up for me and she likes to wipe things and clean up. When she spills something on the floor she will help wipe it up, "i do it" she says.
She is quite polite with manners. She always says please and thank you. She even remembers to tell me "your welcome".
She can count to 13 but misses a few numbers here and there. It used to be all the way through no misses, but now I think she thinks it's funny to miss the numbers. She will sing her ABC's, but is stingy about it. She used to sing songs like twinkle twinkle, and baa baa black sheep. Now she just makes up her own songs, "mama, papa, grandma, zachary, daddy..." then with some la, la, la's in between.

Dalyla knows all of her grandparents' names and faces.
Her big thing right now is saying "sure" for yes. She also says "i ove it". she doesn't pronounce her L's.

she says sentences and pretty much repeats anything you say.

I love her to pieces. I look at her and think, OMG, i want to squeeze you because you are so stinking cute!
Dalyla is into make-up, she loves to put lotion on, and she has now found out what perfume does.

Robert has been building our cedar fence. It looks so nice. He is almost finished with it.
Our yard is looking good. We still have a lot to do, but i think it has come a long way.

I have been working on cleaning out the office and organizing junk. My biggest past time is PULLING WEEDS!

Dalyla just said "mommy tooted, stinky" LOL!
She told me today on my way home "whoa mommy crazy"....because 2700 W. is so bumpy right now.

I love this kid. I love my family.
